The Time Out Group would like to thank Wayne and Max Porter for choosing us as their nominated charity for the Stratford Half Marathon in April. They have seen first-hand the positive impact our charity has made for a family with a special needs child. The exceptional level of care we provide at the fortnightly outings and holiday club enables the families and carers to have some much-needed respite, safe in the knowledge that their child has one to one care and is having a lovely time. To date they have raised over £2500 which will help us tremendously to continue supporting the children and families.

As always, we remain hugely grateful to our many supporters who contribute regularly to our funding through standing orders. They are the backbone of our organisation and without them we could never have succeeded in what the Time Out Group has achieved over the past 14 years. Their support continues to give us and our wonderful staff the confidence that we can continue for many years to come.

Thanks to Hedgehog we now have a regular and reliable minibus service since the sudden demise of our previous short term service last November. And we are delighted to have a new regular driver too!

Once again, this year we owe a huge thank you to The Misses Barrie Charitable Trust who have made another substantial donation to Time Out. This is hugely appreciated and makes a very helpful contribution to our funding, and hence our sustainability for the future.

In May we received the second tranche of our grant from the Stratford Town Trust.

Thanks to this and other generous donors we have been able to expand our activities, by adding a Holiday Club to our traditional Saturday sessions.

Outings in 2024 included visits to Cadbury World, Cotswold Wildlife Park and Twycross Zoo, and we are continuing the programme in 2025.

In February 2025 we have welcomed three new Trustees: Susie Drummond, Ian Roberts and Helen Leighton. All have been, and continue as, members of our management committee and so have good knowledge and understanding of how the Group works.

We also said a fond goodbye to Alison Gilbert, who has been a hugely valued Trustee and Secretary since we began as a Charity in 2012, and to Jane May and Jill Dyer who have served as management committee members. Thank you to all of them for their commitment and their valuable contributions to the Group.

Our thanks go to Tempo Events for their generous donation and sponsorship, when we once again provided marshals for the Compton Verney 10K and Stratford’s Big 10k and half marathon.

We are immensely grateful to the Rowe Will Trust and the Diana Startin Foundation, both of which have made generous donations to the Time Out Group in 2024.

In August we received a very generous donation of £2,500 from the WPH Charitable Trust, a health charity based in Leamington. This is the second time WPH have kindly supported us, and we are immensely grateful for their support

We are very fortunate to have many kind individuals – both parents and former parents, other relatives and members of the public – who generously donate to Time Out through Standing Orders or via our website on a monthly or quarterly basis. We continue to be hugely grateful to all of you; without your support, we simply couldn’t continue to run the service. THANK YOU!
